This 54 mile (87 km) wide crater is located in the far north of the Moon, so we can‘t look into it. Instead of a central mountain, there are two about 550 yards (500 m) high hills. The 4000 yard (3600 m) high crater walls are the starting point for several mountain ranges and a small ray system. It was probably formed during the impact, when molten rock and dust were distributed around the crater.
